Wine That Reminds Us of Christ

Passover is a time for reflection and remembrance. We should strive to celebrate this important occasion in the most meaningful and respectful way possible. When we remember Jesus during this time, we are reminded of the significance of His sacrifice and the love He has for all of us. Let us take a moment to contemplate the link between the wine and the blood of Jesus and the powerful symbolism it represents. May this sermon inspire us to celebrate Passover with reverence and appreciation for all that it represents.

One Dead = Life For All

There are various ways to reach the summit of a mountain, but the same cannot be said for our connection with God. Some teachings suggest that following the customs of our ancestors suffices for worshipping God, but this contradicts the teachings of the Bible. Such ways will not lead anyone closer to God. As per the Bible, Jesus is the only way to establish a connection with God. His sacrifice on the cross saves us and links us to God.

The Soil, WhichYou Are!

"When a farmer plants seeds, there is always a purpose behind it. It would be disappointing for the farmer to have a crop that doesn't meet his expectations. Similarly, as Christians, we believe that God is the farmer who has planted us on earth so that people can benefit from us. As you claim to be a Christian, is your behavior and walk in life reflecting the intended purpose?"

To God You Count

When we speak of God's good name, we refer to His integrity, reliability, and consistent reputation. He has consistently shown His goodness to humanity, revealing it even to young children. When we consider His good reputation in light of what He does for us, we realize that we are truly significant to Him. We can walk tall, knowing that we matter to God and are not just nobodies. Let us worship Him, knowing we are part of His bigger plan. Keep your faith in Him, for He is watching over you.

Useless Prayer and Fasting

Individualism is prevalent among Christians today. As Christians, we tend to focus so much on our spiritual growth that we become useless in our earthly pursuits. However, God brought us into His kingdom through Christ to shine His light and reveal His goodness to the world. When we fail to do this, our prayers and fasting become futile. To correct this error, we need to let our light shine and reflect God's goodness through our actions. Only then will our fasting be acceptable to Him.

Making your prayer to get His/ God’s attention

Prayer is a way of communicating with God, but there are certain conditions that must be met for it to be accepted. 1 John 5:14-15 mentions that we should pray in accordance with God's will. However, one may wonder what the will of God is that we should align ourselves with. The message outlines certain standards and conditions that must be met in order to expect an answer from God.

Prayer | Why God Does Not Answer Your Prayers

Christians often start the year with a period of intensive prayer, during which they may also fast, make declarations of blessings, and seek God's protection. This is a valuable practice that helps to sustain people of faith. However, it's important to recognise that not all prayer requests will be answered, and sometimes, our doubts about God's power, sovereignty, and providence can arise as a result. According to scripture, some of our practices actually cause God to hide his face from us, leading to a lack of answers to our prayers.

Many times, people betray us by saying things that are untrue. When we hear these things, we tend to deeply reflect on their veracity, wondering if we did something wrong to warrant them. David also went through such a situation, but he remembered who God was in his life and declared that he would continue to praise Him, no matter what. Let us hold on to God, regardless of the circumstances we face.

Life presents us with trials that test our faith, but it is during these challenging moments that our belief in God can sustain us. Though we may doubt His presence and be tempted to rely on what we can see, we must remember that He is always with us. May this sermon inspire us to place our trust in God more deeply, for His provision is genuine, and His love is unwavering. 

Reclaiming Our Stolen Riches

As Christians, we believe that God hears every prayer that we make to Him and answers them all. However, sometimes we may not receive the answer due to the presence of principalities that block our prayers. In addition, there are things that the enemy has stolen from us, such as joy, peace, and marriage, among others. These are the blessings that God has given us, but we are unable to reach them. It is only when God intervenes, removing the kings and princes that are blocking our prayers and breaking the gates that are closing the way to our blessings, that our faith grows stronger in Him. Therefore, it is important to put our faith in a God who is all-powerful and capable of removing any obstacle that stands in our way.
